FirstEnergy Offers Utility Training at Community Colleges - FirstEnergy Corp. announced recently that its subsidiaries, Ohio Edison and Toledo Edison, will be partnering with Owens Community College to reinstate its utility line and substation worker training program. Owens Community College will be providing technical coursework for the two-year Power Systems Institute (PSI), while hands-on utility skills will be provided at Edison training facilities.
